University of Alberta

We have been selected as Project Manager of the exciting $249M University Commons Project. Old meets new as the original building is restored and modernized and interconnects and adjoins to the contemporary new build. Demolition commenced in 2019. The iconic project will be phased and delivered in a highly collaborative Construction Management model.

Norquest College - Civic Employees Legacy Tower

The Civic Employees' Legacy Tower - a complete building renovation and re-stack project that commenced in 2017 and is due to complete before the fall term in 2019. Abatement, demolition and renovation all took place in a phased approach, keeping program delivery unabridged throughout the 2 year project. Mission critical project management was utilized to ensure delivery of each floor was maintained to meet each new term's renewal. Our team was integrated with the University of Alberta/Norquest College teams as well as the construction manager to effectively achieve outcomes.This was the second of three major builds in the College's masterplan (DCDP forecast budget $310M).

Norquest College - Singhmar Center for Learning

 Alliant/TD2 was selected by the University of Alberta and Norquest College as Project Manager for the project and fully integrated with the College's stakeholders on site. Remediation of the site commenced in Early 2015 and PCL constructed this facility from May of 2015 to August of 2017. This LEED Gold project was on time and on budget. The tight schedule and extensive changes challenged our team to refine the change management process to maintain the schedule. This was the first of three major builds in the College's masterplan (DCDP forecast budget $310M).

Bell Canada

TD2 was introduced to Bell in 2001, when Alberta's communication industry was deregulated. TD2 performed construction management and project management roles right up until 2015. Bell Intrigna, Bell West and now Bell Canada have been an excellent and demanding client, who have helped shape TD2's resolve to maintain schedules and budgets along with a very high quality standard. We were proud to be instrumental in the building infrastructure that was required across the province as well as the $400M SuperNet build, a huge undertaking in partnership with the Government of Alberta.Tracey Didluck was nominated for the Bell Canada Ovation Award as a result of the SuperNet success.          Image courtesy of Bell Canada

CTV

TD2 was Project Manager for the CTV Edmonton upgrades in 2014 - 2015. This facility commenced on a multi-phased mechanical and electrical overhaul. Along with our engineering team the existing systems and building were reconnoitered and 3D scanned for accurate design parameters and mechanical/electrical systems were designed, pre-ordered, carefully planned with annual capital budgets, then incrementally installed. Outages and temporary systems were carefully orchestrated as to allow for uninterrupted operations of CTV.and its tenants.

Kelowna General Hospital

Our newest resource, Steve Hillman was Senior Project Manager of the Kelowna General Hospital, a $265M project. This LEED Gold project was delivered in a P3 model, and Steve was instrumental in its successful completion.

Vernon Jubilee Hospital

Our newest resource, Steve Hillman was Senior Project Manager of the Vernon Jubilee Hospital, a $175M project. This project was delivered in a P3 model, and Steve was instrumental in its successful completion.

Alberta Traffic Supply

TD2 was Project Manager for the Alberta Traffic Supply's new head office, manufacturing and rental facility. We were involved at the land purchase stage and were instrumental in the success of the project from the onset. TD2 hired the consultant team, dealt with the local county for development approvals, pipeline crossing agreements, and selected the general contractor in a competitive bid process.

Rogers Communications Inc

TD2 provided construction management and general contracting services to Rogers Communications from 2009 - 2013. Our projects were varied and included the construction of a ($7M) post disaster recovery communications hub as well as the renovation of the Edmonton CityTV facility in downtown Edmonton. Projects typically required the highest level of preparation, planning and execution to be successful. We were able to meet those challenges.

Telvent Canada

TD2 was construction manager for Telvent Canada's Remote Weather Information Stations (RWIS) from 2009 - 2011.
